The back nine problem
The front nine feels great. You're striking it well, walking briskly, enjoying the company.
Then somewhere around the 12th, your knee starts having its say. You slow down between shots. Maybe you've started telling your playing partners you've "got things to do" after nine.
I was sceptical at first because I've tried different knee supports before. But this one feels comfortable, stays in place, and provides the stability I need. I wear it regularly now when I'm out and about.
Golf asks more of your knees than you think
A walked round is around four hours on your feet, across slopes, bunkers and uneven ground, with a twist through the knees on every swing.
The Premium Support Knee Brace uses a twist-dial and side laces, so you can set the fit on the first tee and adjust it on the course if you need to.
What the brace is made to do
It is made with neoprene, elastic mesh and moisture-wicking fabric, designed as flexible support for walking, exercise and sport.
Twist-dial fit
Turn the dial and the side laces tighten evenly, so you set the fit and compression to suit your leg.
Kneecap support
A cushioned pad around the kneecap is designed to help the knee feel stable and secure.
Breathable panels
Moisture-wicking fabric helps keep skin cool and dry while you wear it.
Anti-slip grip
Silicone dots inside the top edge help keep the brace from sliding down while you move.
Before getting this knee brace, I was always worried about how uncomfortable my knee would feel during my walks. Since I started wearing it, my knee feels more supported, and I feel much more confident going out. It's made such a difference to my daily routine!
Will it get in the way of your swing?
The knit is flexible, so the brace is designed to support the knee without locking it. Try a few practice swings at home after fitting it, and adjust the dial until it feels right.
I stopped enjoying walks because I was worried about my knee. I didn't expect a knee brace to become something I use almost every day. It fits comfortably under my trousers and gives my knee that extra feeling of stability. I'm really happy with my purchase.
What the full 18 feels like
Walking every hole. Keeping pace with your group. Standing over your putt on the 18th, and still having the legs for the 19th.
These are individual experiences, not guaranteed results. A brace supports the knee; it is not a treatment, so see a professional if your discomfort persists or worsens.
